PBR 6927 Maiden Voyage Meeting the "T"
The trip we'd been working towards, meeting the LST 325 as she entered the New Cumberland Pool.
The next day. As we had to replace a jet pump seal, we decided to postpone our trip to Pittsburgh for another day, and took advantage of the afternoon getting some more wiring and other loose ends done. After all we'd been thru this was a welcome break!
Probably my favorite image. Taken by a crew member of the LST 325. This was emailed to me several months later when I was working on plans for the LST 325 Illinois River Cruise 2011.
I don't know who the photographer was. Thanks to Bob Barbier for sending it along when he was doing leg work on my behalf in Peoria and Henry IL.
