The Story of the acquisition and restoration of a Vietnam War era PBR MKII Navy River Patrol Boat, PBR 31RP6927
PBR 6927 Before Restoration
First two photos are of the hull after being surplused in California. The first is at the surplus yard in Oakland where my friend Pete Woodward found it. The second is the hull at Pete's place. Pete is currently restoring PBR  7332.
The following photos are the hull as I found it in Puyallup WA. Pete found a more complete boat and sold this hull to Larry Stevers in WA.

This should give you the picture of the starting point. No engines, no plumbing, no electrical, no decks, no hatches, no exhaust, no canopy, no weapon's mounts. Just a big empty hole to shovel money into.
The hull at home in Ohio. I had to build the gantry to be able to turn over the first hull that I was working on to repair some serious keel line fiberglass damage.. It has proven to be invaluable in this endeavor.
